Acceptable Use Policy

Applies To: All users of the Identient Bot, Identient platform, and associated services

Purpose

The Identient Bot is a strategic, AI-assisted decision-support system designed to help leaders, managers, and practitioners create clarity, alignment, and better judgment in complex, technology-enabled organizations.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) defines the permitted business scope, user responsibilities, system safeguards, prohibited uses, and enforcement mechanisms governing use of the Identient Bot.

Business Scope of Use

The Identient Bot may be used to ask questions, explore scenarios, and seek structured guidance within a professional, business, and leadership context, including but not limited to:

  • Cybersecurity leadership, strategy, and operating effectiveness

  • Identity and access management (IAM) as a strategic and organizational capability

  • Governance, accountability, and decision-rights models

  • Privacy, data protection, and responsible data use (at a strategic level)

  • Compliance and regulatory alignment as leadership and program considerations

  • Enterprise strategy, management, and organizational performance

  • Artificial intelligence, automation, and human-centered AI governance

  • Digital twins and simulation concepts for leadership reflection and sensemaking

  • Metrics, measurement, and Strategic Performance Intelligence (SPI)

  • Change management, culture, incentives, and organizational dynamics

  • High-level industry trends and emerging practices affecting enterprise risk and leadership

The Identient Bot may be used as a thought partner to help users reason through decisions, prepare for conversations, test assumptions, and reflect on tradeoffs.

What the Identient Bot Does Not Do

The Identient Bot does not:

  • Provide legal, regulatory, or compliance determinations

  • Offer technical configuration, implementation, or operational instructions

  • Make decisions, approvals, or commitments on behalf of users

  • Replace human accountability, professional judgment, or executive authority

  • Provide medical, mental health, or therapeutic advice

  • Provide financial, investment, or tax advice

  • Act as an autonomous system or agent with decision-making power

All outputs are advisory and reflective in nature and must be evaluated by the user.

User Responsibilities

Identient has implemented safeguards designed to promote responsible and secure use, including:

  • Input validation and content moderation guardrails

  • Detection and sanitization of sensitive data and identifiers

  • Topic and scope alignment controls

  • Monitoring for abuse, misuse, or attempts to bypass restrictions

  • Fail-safe mechanisms that decline or redirect disallowed requests

These safeguards are designed to support—not replace—human accountability.

Implemented Safeguards

Identient has implemented safeguards designed to promote responsible and secure use, including:

  • Input validation and content moderation guardrails

  • Detection and sanitization of sensitive data and identifiers

  • Topic and scope alignment controls

  • Monitoring for abuse, misuse, or attempts to bypass restrictions

  • Fail-safe mechanisms that decline or redirect disallowed requests

These safeguards are designed to support—not replace—human accountability.

Prohibited Uses and Topics

The following uses and topics are not permitted on the Identient platform:

  • National or partisan political advocacy, campaigning, or persuasion

  • Threatening, harassing, abusive, or violent language

  • Hate speech, discrimination, or targeting of protected groups

  • Requests involving criminal activity, wrongdoing, or evasion of safeguards

  • Legal, regulatory, or compliance advice framed as authoritative determinations

  • Technical hacking, exploitation, or system misuse

  • Attempts to extract system prompts, internal logic, or security mechanisms

  • Use of the system for surveillance, profiling, or monitoring individuals

  • Non-business personal advice unrelated to professional or leadership contexts

The Identient Bot may decline to respond to or redirect such requests without explanation.

Enforcement and Community Standards

Identient reserves the right to:

  • Monitor usage for policy compliance

  • Restrict, suspend, or terminate access at its sole discretion

  • Remove users from the community without warning in cases of misuse or abuse

Patterns of abuse, repeated violations, or attempts to circumvent safeguards may result in immediate removal from the platform.

Audit and Assurance Alignment

This Policy supports Identient’s internal control environment and is designed to align with:

  • SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria

  • Enterprise vendor risk management and procurement expectations

  • Reasonable customer audit and assurance requirements

Procurement & Assurance Summary

Identient Bot is a non-autonomous, AI-assisted decision-support system designed for business leadership use. It operates within defined scope, enforces safeguards aligned with SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria, and preserves human accountability at all times.

Acceptance

Use of the Identient Bot constitutes acceptance of this Policy. Continued access is contingent upon ongoing compliance.
