Identient operates a B2B knowledge platform that organizes expert-authored materials – called Verified Intelligence – and allows users to query and retrieve insights from verified source documents. Our Website allows visitors to learn about our services, request a demo, subscribe, and interact with our platform. Our platform is accessible through our Website and via the Twin Builder admin tool at [https://www.conferencetwin.com/], as well as through Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations.

This privacy notice applies to information we collect:

  • On our Websites and its affiliates.
  • Through our products or services.
  • In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and this Website.
  • When you interact with our products on third-party platforms.

It does not apply to:

  • On Our Website (Identient.com; Identient.ai): Name, email address, company name, phone number, job title, information through contact forms, demo requests, or newsletter sign up.
  • In Twin Builder (app.identient.ai): Name, email address, job title, creator content you upload (documents, transcripts, research papers, keynotes)
  • In Conference Twin: Name, email address, company name, phone number, billing address, queries submitted to Conference Twin, Interaction patterns with the Conference Twin Product.
  • Through Slack or Microsoft Teams: Opaque user ID, query text, interaction timestamps.


When you sign into Twin Builder via LinkedIn, we do not store your LinkedIn password. LinkedIn handles authentication directly. We receive your name, email address, and job title from your LinkedIn profile.

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies

As you navigate through and interact with our Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

  • Details of your visits to our Website, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Website.
  • Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.

Primary Website Interactions:

  • Name

  • Information submitted through contact forms, demo requests, assessment requests, workshop inquiries, or newsletter signups to customize our response and prepare for the services you request


What data is used for: Following up on your inquiry, sending you information about Identient’s services, adding you to our email list (with your permission), and contacting you about scheduled demos or consultations.

Creators (Twin Builder - app.identient.ai)

Authentication & Profile:

  • Name (via LinkedIn OAuth login)
  • Email address (via LinkedIn OAuth)
  • Job title (via LinkedIn OAuth)
  • LinkedIn profile information (used for identity verification)


Creator Content Upload:

  • Documents, transcripts, research papers, keynote recordings
  • Metadata about uploaded content (titles, publication dates, topics)
  • Content organization structure and categorization
  • Optional creator profile information (bio, expertise areas)


What data is used for: Building and maintaining your Digital Twin, organizing your verified content, enabling access control, and supporting your customers’ ability to query your expertise.

Customers/Subscribers

Account Information:

  • Company name
  • Company type (industry, size, etc.)
  • Primary contact name and email
  • Phone number
  • Billing address
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe; we do not store credit card details)
  • Billing history and subscription tier


What data is used for: Managing your subscription, sending invoices and account updates, enabling access to Digital Twins you’ve licensed, and providing customer support.

End Users (Slack/Teams Integration, Conference Twin)

Slack/Microsoft Teams Integration:

  • Opaque user ID (issued by Slack or Teams, not your real name)
  • Query text (the questions you ask the Digital Twin)
  • Interaction timestamps
  • Approximate location (state/city level, from IP address via Cloudflare proxy)


What data is used for:  Processing your queries through the Digital Twin, retrieving relevant documents from Creator content, ranking and synthesizing responses, analyzing platform performance and usage patterns, identifying common questions or topics, improving response quality and relevance, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Conference Twin – Product-Specific Data Practices: Conference Twin (conferencetwin.com) is an AI assistant for conferences powered by Identient technology.

  • For Attendees: We collect your queries, interaction patterns, location (state/city level), and device information to provide the service and improve performance. Your individual query data and personal information are NOT shared with sponsors. However, aggregated behavioral statistics (such as popular topics and engagement patterns) are shared with sponsors in de-identified form only – sponsors cannot identify you from this data. Your query data is retained for 30 days for optimization and up to 1 year for legal and quality assurance purposes.
  • For Sponsors: Sponsors receive only aggregated, un-identified analytics through a secure portal (for example: “X% of attendees discussed topic Y” or “Peak engagement times”). Sponsors do NOT receive individual attendee names, queries, or any personally identifiable information. Sponsors are contractually prohibited from attempting to re-identify attendees from this data.
  • For Organizers: Organizers can access aggregated performance metrics and analytics for their conference instance but cannot access individual attendee data or personal information.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information about our users without restriction.

We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy notice:

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Identient’s assets.
  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.

Service Providers and Third Parties

We share essential personal information with the following categories of third parties:

  • Service providers: Infrastructure and security via Cloudflare, Payment Processing via Stripe, Website Hosting and Archiving via WP Engine, Communication via Slack and Microsoft Teams.
  • Data Processing and Analysis: Supabase, n8n, Attio
  • Artificial Intelligence Processing: OpenAI. When you use our technology, your queries are sent to OpenAI for processing to generate responses. OpenAI’s data practices are available here: https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/your-data.

 
Aggregated Data

We may share aggregated information that cannot identify you with third parties for business purposes, research, and marketing.
