Identient Corp.

Your AI agents are accruing Verification Debt. We help you retire it before it comes due.

Our Company

Most AI strategies ignore the liability that matters most.

Identient was built to name it: Verification Debt. Every time an AI agent acts without governed identity, evidence, or a clear owner, that debt grows. It compounds quietly, then comes due at the worst moment — a release, an audit, a dispute.

We help regulated and high-velocity organizations retire that debt before that moment arrives.

Founded in 2024 by Steve Tout and based near Seattle, Identient runs on one framework: AI Operating Discipline. Four phases: Diagnose, Design, Deploy, Defend. Five control dimensions: inventory, ownership, identity, evidence, and performance. Together they bound the agentic surface, enforce least-privilege access, and make every AI decision traceable — in language a board can follow.

Beneath the framework runs Verified Intelligence: digital twins that reflect how your experts actually reason, grounded in policy and cited to source. If an expert can articulate their judgment, we can turn it into a governed twin, available wherever your teams already work.

The result: expertise that scales in hours, not months. Never at the cost of control.
