What the Twin Demo Is

The Identient Twin Demo lets you interact with verified digital twins—AI representations of real experts—so you can think through decisions, test assumptions, and explore multiple perspectives together.

You can ask a single twin a question or engage an expert panel to see how different viewpoints diverge and converge.

Where to Start

All Twin Demo interactions happen in the Twin Demo channel in Slack.

This shared space is intentionally public so you can:

  • See how others frame questions

  • Learn from real examples

  • Observe how different twins reason and respond

How to Ask Your First Question

  1. Go to the Twin Demo channel.

  2. Use the /panel slash command to ask a clear, decision-oriented question in plain language.

  3. (Optional) Use a panel command like -debate, -critique, -advise, or -solve to choose how the twins respond.

That’s it. Responses will appear directly in the thread.

Using Expert Panel Mode

Panel mode lets you ask the same question to multiple twins at once.

Each twin responds independently, giving you:

  • Contrasting viewpoints
  • Tension points
  • Areas of alignment
  • A clearer picture of tradeoffs.

 
Available modes include:

  • Debate
  • Critique
  • Advise
  • Problem solving

What Makes a Good Question

The demo works best when you ask about:

  • A decision you’re actively weighing
  • A belief or assumption you want challenged
  • A strategy that feels directionally right but uncertain
  • A risk you suspect you’re underestimating

 
Avoid overly abstract or purely factual questions.
